Terms & Conditions

Last Revised: October 28, 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PetBridge, Inc. ("PetBridge," "we," "us," or "our"). The Terms govern your access to and use of petbridge.com, petbridge.org, admin.petbridge.org, the PetBridge WordPress plugin, and every product and feature PetBridge provides, including Pet Display, Pet Alert, Pet Syndication, Surrender Status and the Surrender Status Map, ReHome, Electronic Kennel Cards, and Digital Kiosks (together, the "Services").

You accept these Terms when you click "I Agree," create an Account, purchase a Subscription, reply to or enroll in a PetBridge text message program, or access or use any part of the Services. If you do not accept these Terms, you have no right to access or use the Services.

The following documents are part of these Terms: the PetBridge Service Privacy Policy, the Text Messaging Terms in Section 5, and the plan and any order form or quote you accept at purchase. If you accept these Terms for an animal shelter, rescue, humane society, foster network, or other organization (an "Organization"), you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" means both you and the Organization.

PETBRIDGE IS A TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER. PETBRIDGE IS NOT A PARTY TO ANY ADOPTION, FOSTER, SURRENDER, OR REHOMING. PETBRIDGE DOES NOT SCREEN ADOPTERS, VERIFY ANIMALS OR PEOPLE, OR GUARANTEE THE OUTCOME OF ANY PLACEMENT.

SECTION 17 CONTAINS A JURY TRIAL WAIVER AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER THAT AFFECT YOUR RIGHTS.

1. Definitions

"Account" means the account an Organization registers to access the Services.

"Authorized User" means an individual an Organization permits to use its Account, including staff, volunteers, fosters, and contractors acting under the Organization's direction.

"Customer Data" means the data an Organization or its Authorized Users submit to the Services or connect through a Shelter Software integration, including animal records, photos, descriptions, and Surrender Status settings. Customer Data excludes Usage Data and PetBridge IP.

"Deidentified Data" means data processed so that it does not identify, and cannot reasonably be used to identify, any individual, animal, or Organization.

"Listing" means an animal profile displayed through the Services, including on an Organization's website, a Digital Kiosk, an Electronic Kennel Card, petbridge.org, or a Syndication Partner's website.

"Messages" means text messages (SMS and MMS), including recurring and automated messages, sent by or through the Services.

"PetBridge IP" means the Services and all software, source code, object code, APIs, data feeds, databases, algorithms, designs, interfaces, documentation, content, trademarks, and know-how used in or provided through the Services, and all intellectual property rights in them.

"Public User" means an individual who uses the Services without an Account, including a prospective adopter, a Pet Alert subscriber, a ReHome lister or respondent, and a visitor to the Surrender Status Map.

"Public User Data" means information a Public User submits through the Services, including names, email addresses, mobile numbers, alert preferences, ReHome listings, and inquiries.

"Shelter Software" means a third-party shelter or rescue management system an Organization connects to the Services, such as PetPoint, Shelterluv, ShelterBuddy, Chameleon, or RescueGroups.

"Subscription" means a paid or free plan that grants access to the Services.

"Syndication Partner" means a third-party adoption website to which the Services publish Listings, such as Petfinder and Adopt-a-Pet.

"Usage Data" means technical and operational data PetBridge collects about how the Services are accessed and perform.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

2.1 Age. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

2.2 Organizations. Accounts are available only to animal shelters, rescues, humane societies, foster networks, and other animal welfare organizations. Each Organization represents that it and its Authorized Users hold every license, registration, and permit required for the animal care, adoption, and intake work they perform.

2.3 Compliance. You are responsible for using the Services in compliance with every law, regulation, and ordinance that applies to you, including laws governing animal welfare, adoption, animal sales and transfers, disclosure of animal health and behavior history, consumer communications, telemarketing, and privacy.

2.4 Account information. You will provide accurate, complete information at registration and keep it current.

2.5 Credentials. Each Authorized User receives unique credentials. Credentials are personal and may not be shared. You are responsible for all activity under your Account, whether or not you authorized it.

2.6 Security. You will notify us at [support email] immediately upon learning of any unauthorized access to your Account.

2.7 Organization responsibility. An Organization is responsible for provisioning and removing its Authorized Users and is jointly and severally liable for their compliance with these Terms.

3. License and Ownership

3.1 License. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, PetBridge grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your internal business purposes during your Subscription.

3.2 Ownership. PetBridge and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the PetBridge IP. The Services are licensed, not sold. No right is granted except as expressly stated in these Terms, and no license is implied.

3.3 Trademarks. PetBridge, the PetBridge logo, and our product names are trademarks of PetBridge. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

3.4 Changes to the Services. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

3.5 Infringement. Any use of the Services that violates these Terms is both a breach of these Terms and an infringement of PetBridge's intellectual property rights.

3.6 WordPress plugin. The PetBridge WordPress plugin is distributed through WordPress.org under the open-source license stated in its directory listing. That license governs the plugin's own code and nothing else. It grants no right to access or use the Services, which remain subject to these Terms.

4. Prohibited Conduct

4.1 Reverse engineering. Reverse engineering of the Services is prohibited under all circumstances. You will not, and will not permit or assist any person to, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, translate, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, object code, architecture, data structures, database schema, APIs, endpoints, data feeds, algorithms, or underlying logic of any part of the Services. This prohibition covers the PetBridge platform, admin.petbridge.org, petbridge.org, every API and endpoint, all embedded content and widgets served by PetBridge, Digital Kiosk and Electronic Kennel Card software, Shelter Software integrations, syndication systems, and messaging systems. It applies regardless of purpose, including interoperability, security research, error correction, benchmarking, education, or competitive analysis. No consent, course of dealing, or prior permission waives it; only a signed written agreement executed by an officer of PetBridge that expressly references this Section 4.1 can authorize any exception. The sole carve-out is the WordPress plugin's own code, which its open-source license governs under Section 3.6; that license grants no right to reverse engineer anything the plugin connects to. This Section 4.1 survives termination of these Terms indefinitely.

4.2 Other prohibited conduct. You will not, and will not permit or assist any person to:

  1. access, copy, or extract data from the Services using any bot, scraper, crawler, or other automated means;
  2. harvest, copy, or collect Listings, Public User Data, or Surrender Status Map data for any purpose;
  3. use Public User Data for any purpose other than the adoption, rehoming, or alert it was submitted for;
  4. copy, modify, translate, frame, mirror, or create derivative works of any part of the Services, except to embed Services on your own website as PetBridge provides;
  5. sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise make the Services available to any third party, except Authorized Users;
  6. use the Services or any data obtained from them to build, train, or improve any competing product, service, dataset, or AI model;
  7. access the Services for competitive analysis, benchmarking, or monitoring of availability, performance, or functionality;
  8. disable, circumvent, or interfere with any security, authentication, rate-limiting, or access-control feature;
  9. probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or any connected system or network, including by penetration testing or load testing;
  10. upload or transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code;
  11. access any account, system, or data without authorization;
  12. impose an unreasonable load on the Services or interfere with any other user's use;
  13. remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice, branding, label, or advertising the Services display;
  14. post a Listing that is false or misleading, or that describes an animal not in your care or custody;
  15. use ReHome or any other feature for commercial breeding, resale, or brokering of animals;
  16. send spam, unsolicited Messages, or any Message that violates Section 5 or applicable law;
  17. submit or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or fraudulent, or that violates any person's rights; or
  18. use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

4.3 Monitoring and enforcement. We may monitor use of the Services, investigate suspected violations, remove content, suspend or terminate access, and report unlawful conduct to authorities. A violation of this Section 4 is a material breach of these Terms.

4.4 Equitable relief. A breach of this Section 4 causes PetBridge irreparable harm for which money damages are inadequate. PetBridge is entitled to injunctive and other equitable relief for any actual or threatened breach, without posting a bond, in addition to every other remedy available at law.

5. Text Messaging Terms

5.1 Messaging programs. The Services send two kinds of Messages. PetBridge Pet Alerts notify Public Users who sign up through an Organization's website or PetBridge when an animal matching their preferences becomes available at that Organization, along with sign-up confirmations and alert management links. Account Messages send verification codes, security alerts, and service notices to Authorized Users. Each Pet Alert identifies the Organization it is sent for.

5.2 Consent. When you enter a mobile number in a Pet Alert sign-up form and submit it, you give your express written consent to receive recurring automated Messages about animals matching your preferences from PetBridge on behalf of the Organization named on the form. Consent to receive Messages is not a condition of adopting an animal or using any service. You represent that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

5.3 Frequency and charges. Message frequency varies with your alert preferences and how often matching animals become available. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier bills those charges; PetBridge does not.

5.4 Opting out. Reply STOP to any Message to stop receiving Messages from that program. STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, and STOPALL are each honored. You will receive one Message confirming the opt-out and no further Messages from that program unless you opt in again. You can also change or cancel Pet Alerts through the alert management link in any alert. Opting out of one Organization's Pet Alerts does not opt you out of another Organization's Pet Alerts. To resume Messages, reply START or UNSTOP. An opt-out request made by another reasonable means, such as telling the Organization directly, is honored.

5.5 Help. Reply HELP to any Message for assistance, or contact PetBridge at [email protected] or (316) 260-5294.

5.6 Delivery and availability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered Messages. PetBridge does not guarantee that any Message will be delivered or delivered on time. A Pet Alert is not a hold, reservation, or promise of adoption; an animal named in an alert may be adopted or unavailable by the time you respond. Adoption decisions belong to the Organization.

5.7 Number changes. You will update or cancel your Pet Alerts promptly if you change, cancel, or transfer your mobile number. You are responsible for Messages sent to a number you provided until you do.

5.8 Mobile information. PetBridge does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the Organization the Public User signed up through, with service providers that deliver Messages for PetBridge, and as required by law.

5.9 Organization obligations. Each Organization that offers Pet Alerts or any other messaging feature will:

  1. collect mobile numbers for Messages only through PetBridge sign-up forms, or another method PetBridge approves in writing that captures the same consent;
  2. never upload, import, or add a mobile number to the Services for Messages without the consent described in Section 5.2, and never use purchased, rented, or third-party lists;
  3. never alter, hide, or remove the consent, frequency, rates, or opt-out language on any sign-up form;
  4. promptly process any opt-out request it receives directly by removing the number in the Services or notifying PetBridge;
  5. keep its Organization name and contact information in the Services accurate, because they appear in Messages;
  6. use Messages only for the purpose of the program the recipient joined, and never for fundraising, events, or promotions unless PetBridge enables a program for that purpose and the recipient consented to it; and
  7. comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state telemarketing and messaging laws, the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and wireless carrier requirements.

5.10 Our rights. PetBridge may delay Messages to comply with quiet-hour laws at the recipient's location. PetBridge may review, filter, block, rate-limit, or suspend any Message or messaging program that it believes violates these Terms, carrier rules, or law, or that receives carrier or recipient complaints. Phone numbers and short codes used to send Messages belong to PetBridge or its carrier partners.

5.11 Messaging liability. Each Organization will indemnify PetBridge under Section 16 for every claim, fine, carrier penalty, and expense arising from its breach of Section 5.9, including claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and similar laws.

6. Data and Privacy

6.1 Customer Data. Each Organization retains ownership of its Customer Data. The Organization grants PetBridge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and publish Customer Data to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services, including publishing Listings under Section 8.

6.2 Public User Data. PetBridge collects Public User Data on behalf of the Organization whose website, form, or Listing the Public User used, and shares it with that Organization. PetBridge uses Public User Data to provide the Services and as the Privacy Policy describes.

6.3 Organization responsibility. Each Organization represents that it has every right, consent, and notice required by law to submit Customer Data, including rights to every animal photo and description and to personal information about adopters, fosters, volunteers, and staff. Each Organization is responsible for its own use of Public User Data it receives.

6.4 Deidentified Data and Usage Data. PetBridge owns all Deidentified Data and Usage Data and may use them for any lawful purpose, including analytics, reporting, benchmarking, and developing and improving the Services. PetBridge will not publish Deidentified Data in a form that identifies any individual, animal, or Organization.

6.5 No sale. PetBridge does not sell Customer Data or Public User Data and does not disclose either to third parties for their own independent use, except as these Terms or the Privacy Policy describe or the law requires.

6.6 Privacy Policy. The PetBridge Service Privacy Policy at https://petbridge.com/petbridge-service-privacy-policy/ describes how PetBridge collects, uses, and shares personal information, and is part of these Terms.

6.7 Security. PetBridge maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for Customer Data and Public User Data. No system is completely secure, and PetBridge does not guarantee that data will never be accessed, lost, or disclosed without authorization.

6.8 Legal requests. PetBridge may disclose data when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process.

6.9 Records. PetBridge is not an Organization's system of record or records custodian. When an Organization connects Shelter Software, that software remains the source of its animal records. Each Organization maintains its own copies of every record it is required by law to retain.

7. Listings, Adoptions, ReHome, and Surrender Status

7.1 Listings. Each Organization is solely responsible for its Listings, including their accuracy, the animal's availability, and every disclosure of health, behavior, and bite history that the law requires. Animal information shown through the Services, including on Electronic Kennel Cards and Digital Kiosks, comes from the Organization or its Shelter Software. PetBridge does not verify it, and it is not veterinary advice.

7.2 Adoptions. PetBridge is not a party to any adoption, foster, surrender, or rehoming. PetBridge does not screen adopters, inspect homes, evaluate animals, or guarantee any placement. Every placement decision belongs to the Organization and the people involved.

7.3 ReHome. ReHome lets pet owners list their own animals for rehoming through an Organization's website, and lets prospective adopters contact those owners directly. The Organization approves and controls the ReHome listings on its website and may remove any of them. Each ReHome lister represents that they are at least 18, that they own the animal listed, and that their listing is accurate and complete. Every rehoming is solely between the lister and the adopter, who are responsible for complying with the laws that govern animal transfers. PetBridge does not verify ReHome listers, adopters, or animals.

7.4 Surrender Status. Each Organization is responsible for keeping its Surrender Status current. Surrender Status is informational only and does not guarantee that an Organization will accept any animal. Organizations on Surrender Status appear on the public Surrender Status Map at petbridge.org with their name, status, and instructions, shown at their street address or at their city only, according to the choice they make in the Services.

8. Pet Syndication and Public Display

8.1 Syndication. When an Organization enables Pet Syndication, it authorizes PetBridge to publish its Listings to Syndication Partners. Each Syndication Partner's own terms govern its website. PetBridge does not control how or when a Syndication Partner displays, updates, or removes a Listing.

8.2 Updates and removals. PetBridge sends status changes and removals to Syndication Partners as the Organization's data changes. PetBridge is not responsible for a Syndication Partner's delay or failure to update or remove a Listing.

8.3 Displays. Each Organization is responsible for the website, display screens, kiosk hardware, and network connections it uses to show the Services.

8.4 Customer identification. PetBridge may identify an Organization as a PetBridge customer and display its name and logo on PetBridge websites and materials. An Organization may withdraw this permission by written notice to PetBridge.

9. Integrations, Discontinued Apps, and Beta Features

9.1 Shelter Software and third-party services. The Services connect to Shelter Software, Syndication Partners, messaging carriers, and payment processors, each governed by its own terms. Each Organization is responsible for authorizing PetBridge's access to its Shelter Software and for complying with that vendor's terms. PetBridge is not responsible for any third-party service, or for sync interruptions caused by a third party's outage, error, or API change.

9.2 Discontinued mobile applications. PetBridge mobile applications are discontinued. PetBridge no longer develops, updates, or supports them and may disable them at any time without notice. Any remaining use of a discontinued application is at your own risk, is subject to these Terms, and entitles you to no refund or credit.

9.3 Beta features. Features labeled beta, preview, or experimental are provided as is, for evaluation, and may change or end at any time. PetBridge's total liability for beta features is $100.

10. Fees and Billing

10.1 Fees. You will pay all fees for your Subscription as stated at purchase or in your order. Fees are in U.S. dollars and payable in advance.

10.2 Authorization. You authorize PetBridge and its payment processor to charge your payment method on file for all fees, including renewals, one-time installation fees, add-ons, and applicable taxes. PetBridge does not store full payment card numbers.

10.3 Automatic renewal. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY FOR SUCCESSIVE TERMS OF THE SAME LENGTH AT THE THEN-CURRENT FEES UNLESS YOU CANCEL BEFORE THE END OF THE CURRENT TERM. You may cancel in your Account settings or by emailing [billing email]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term.

10.4 Fee changes. We will give you notice before any fee change takes effect. The new fees apply at your next renewal.

10.5 Taxes. Fees exclude taxes. You are responsible for all sales, use, and similar taxes, other than taxes on PetBridge's net income.

10.6 Late payment. Overdue amounts accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower, plus reasonable collection costs. We may suspend the Services when any amount is more than 30 days overdue.

10.7 No refunds. Fees, including one-time installation and setup fees, are non-refundable, and no credit is given for partial periods or unused features, except where required by law.

10.8 No-charge plans. We may change, limit, or discontinue any free trial or no-charge plan at any time and may delete data associated with it.

10.9 Advertising. The Free plan is ad-supported. PetBridge selects the advertising shown in Free plan Services and retains all advertising revenue. Organizations on the Free plan may not remove, hide, or alter that advertising.

11. Confidentiality

The non-public features, performance, pricing, and technology of the Services are PetBridge's confidential information. You will use that information only to use the Services, protect it with at least reasonable care, and disclose it only to Authorized Users and advisors who are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations. These obligations do not apply to information that is public through no fault of yours or that you independently developed without use of PetBridge's information.

12. Feedback

Feedback, suggestions, and ideas you provide about the Services are non-confidential. You assign to PetBridge all rights in that feedback, and PetBridge may use it for any purpose without attribution or compensation.

13. Suspension and Termination

13.1 Term. These Terms apply from your first use of the Services until terminated.

13.2 Termination by you. You may stop using the Services and cancel your Subscription at any time under Section 10.3.

13.3 Suspension and termination by PetBridge. We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, generate carrier or recipient complaints, or create risk to the Services, other users, Public Users, or PetBridge.

13.4 Effect. On termination, your license ends and you will stop using the Services. Your Listings are removed from your displays and from petbridge.org, PetBridge sends removals to Syndication Partners, and Pet Alerts for your Organization stop. You remain responsible for all fees incurred through the termination date.

13.5 Data export. You will export any Customer Data you need before termination takes effect. After 30 days following termination, PetBridge may permanently delete Customer Data associated with the terminated Account.

13.6 Survival. Sections 1, 3.2, 3.5, 4, 5.8, 5.11, 6.4, 7, 11, 12, 13.4 through 13.6, and 14 through 19 survive termination, together with any provision that by its nature should survive.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ALL MESSAGES, LISTINGS, AND CONTENT, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PETBRIDGE AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS (THE "PETBRIDGE PARTIES") DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE PETBRIDGE PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY MESSAGE WILL BE DELIVERED, OR THAT ANY LISTING OR CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1 Excluded damages. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PETBRIDGE PARTIES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DONATIONS, DATA, OR GOODWILL; ANY INJURY TO OR DEATH OF ANY PERSON OR ANIMAL ARISING FROM AN ADOPTION, FOSTER, SURRENDER, OR REHOMING; OR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM UNDELIVERED, DELAYED, OR MISDIRECTED MESSAGES OR FROM INACCURATE LISTINGS, ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.

15.2 Cap. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PETBRIDGE PARTIES' TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID PETBRIDGE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) $100.

15.3 Basis of the bargain. These limitations allocate risk between the parties and are an essential basis of the bargain. They apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Where law prohibits a limitation, that limitation applies to the maximum extent the law permits.

16. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the PetBridge Parties from all claims, damages, losses, fines, penalties, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to: (a) your or your Authorized Users' use of the Services; (b) your Customer Data and Listings; (c) Messages sent to numbers you collected or added, or any breach of Section 5.9; (d) your breach of these Terms; (e) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (f) any adoption, foster, surrender, rehoming, or animal care you provide or arrange. PetBridge may assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you will cooperate with that defense.

17. Disputes and Governing Law

17.1 Governing law. The laws of the State of Kansas govern these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

17.2 Venue. Every claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, and each party consents to their personal jurisdiction. PetBridge may seek injunctive relief to protect its intellectual property in any court of competent jurisdiction.

17.3 Jury trial waiver. EACH PARTY WAIVES ITS RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS.

17.4 Class action waiver. Every claim will be brought only in an individual capacity, never as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.

17.5 Time limit. Any claim against PetBridge must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last Revised" date and, for material changes, give notice by email or in the Services. Updated Terms take effect when posted unless stated otherwise. Continued use of the Services after that date is acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. General

19.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, with the documents they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and PetBridge regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements on that subject.

19.2 Order of precedence. If documents conflict, this order controls: (a) a signed written agreement between you and PetBridge; (b) an order form; (c) these Terms; (d) the Privacy Policy.

19.3 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. PetBridge may assign these Terms without restriction, including in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

19.4 Severability. If a court holds any provision unenforceable, that provision is enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions stay in full effect. If applicable law permits any reverse engineering despite Section 4.1, that permission is limited to the narrowest scope the law requires, and you will give PetBridge written notice and a reasonable opportunity to provide the information sought before you act on it.

19.5 No waiver. A failure or delay in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of it.

19.6 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including carrier outages, internet failures, and acts of government. This Section does not excuse payment obligations.

19.7 Electronic communications. You consent to receive notices and communications from PetBridge electronically, and electronic communications satisfy every legal requirement that a communication be in writing. Notices to PetBridge must be sent to [email protected].

19.8 Export and sanctions. You will comply with all U.S. export control and sanctions laws. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any restricted-party list.

19.9 Relationship. The parties are independent contractors. These Terms create no partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship.

19.10 Language. The English version of these Terms controls.
